The Sacrum

The Sacrum and Coat of Arms

Every country has a coat of arms, a shield held up by either two animals or a giant bird. The sacrum is in the shape of a shield and held up by the hip bones.

The Sacrum and Green Man

The sacrum bone looks like a head with a face. It also has two "horns". Green men are often found at the bottom of fountains. The ancients believed that spinal fluid and semen were one and the same. A fountain mimics the rising and falling of spinal fluid. Green men also typically have vines emanating from their face, these are the veins and nerves that wind in and out of the holes of the sacrum.

The Sacrum and the Harp

Sometimes the sacrum takes the form of a harp or lyre on buildings that deal with music. The spinal cord are the strings that pass over the sacrum.

The Sacrum and Moses with Horns

In many murals and sculptures, Moses is depicted with horns, could he be the sacrum holding two tablets of stone with curved tops?

The Sacrum, the Master of Animals, and Jesus

If you take the sacrum as a head, then the coccyx looks like a body with outstretched arms. All over the world are artifacts of gods with outstretched arms holding two animals. Jesus is often portrayed on the cross with feet together, outstretched arms, and two people at his sides.
